part of the life of the archdiocese

- cooperate with other Christians in prayer for Christian unity
- initiate, encourage and develop practical ways of building bridges
of understanding and co-operation between churches
- assist in educating and motivating Catholics to take up the challenge
to participate actively in working for 'full visible unity'
- represent the archdiocese in ecumenical and interfaith affairs
- foster a deep appreciation of the unique bond between Jews and
Christans

in order that we might understand, be enriched and co-operate together
for the good of society
